Parrotfish enamel pin set

There’s a lot of really jawsome reasons why we love parrotfish. They chew dead coral and that makes beautiful white sand. That keeps our reefs healthy and who doesn’t love sandy beaches? But for Pride, let’s focus on how they completely shift their colors and patterns based on their age, sex, and status. Many parrotfish are sequential hermaphrodites, starting as females that with a hormonal shift can change into dominant, functionally fertile and vibrantly colored males (“supermales”).
